LCD electroluminescent (EL) Backlighting colour change

Electrical experts......do you know if its possible to change the colour of a LCD display that uses electroluminescent backlighting ?

 

Standard colour is Green, and I would want to change to blue, which I presume as its a primary colour that filters (if they exist) would be out of the question.

 

Invertor..voltage ? :confused:

    Thanks, would the panel be seperate from the LCD..a part that could be replaced ?
