The Zed I recently purchased only came with a 'valet' key which as normal for these only opens and locks the drivers door, and not the glove box or boot lit. Being an import does anyone know how to get a proper key cut / supplied that will do all the locks.

yes,

buy a blank master key...ebay has a wide range available! (i bought a genuine nissan master and valet key for £18 delivered from america). take the master along with the valet key you have with you to your local key cutter and just get them to copy it. hey presto you have a working master key again :D

Cheers Sean, will do. :hyper:

Or just take the valet key to a good key-cutter and they should have an equivalent blank for a couple of quid.

Depends how much you want the original key look.

Does'nt the lock barrel have the key code on it?

The valet key has a number on it but being a jap import my local Nissan dealer just does not seem to co operate.
