Right then folks Now Athene is REO (well no-one else wanted it), This meet is still on, provisionally for the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of September. I need some definate yes or no's for this so I know how many to book camping etc for.

I'll have to check on ferry pricing probably best if you come over earl ish saturday, plus will only have to pay for 1 nights camping then, I'm trying to keep the price down as some people might think it gets a bit expensive.

Right then folks, would people prefer to travel over on the Friday evening or Saturday morning?

Travelling by REd funnel on Friday will be £50.50, Saturday morning will be £47.

Hmmm, that'll make 3 zed week-ends on the trot, could be a bit awkward - not to mention an expensive 3 weeks  I'll have to chat to the missus tonight, haven't mentioned the Hackpen meet to her yet, what a fun evening I'm going to have!!

Really want to do this one, but whatever happens camping is a 'no go' for us at the moment, however hopefully we can meet up with all of you for the day.

Thanks for the effort Scotty, be good to catch up,

Cheers,

Steve

Well done Scotty, we're going to have a very busy, but enjoyable, time on SC in the coming weeks :hyper:

Are you planning to come to Hackpen?

Put me down as a provisional for IOW as I really want to go but not sure about camping

The £82.50 price was with Wightlink, Lymington/Yarmouth return(7.45 start)

Found £42.50 price with RedFunnel, Southampton/E.Cowes return(8.00 start)

THAT'S A LOT BETTER!!

Yes mate wightlink are dearer, I onnly use them as I cant get my car on red funnel, standard zeds are fine, mine is a bit on the low side.

Right then people, all those who are serious about coming will need to book the ferry in the next 2 weeks or there will not be room for you all to come over on the same ferry.

To save confusion if you all book the 9 o clock sailing from Southampton on the saturday, and return at 20:30 on the sunday. This will cost £47.50. please let me know when you have booked so i start arranging reservations for meals etc.

Thanks

Hiya Scotty,

As I'm only coming over for the one day - and I've got a IOW ferry on my doorstep, I'll sort myself out from Pompey, probably Saturday and we'll aim to meet you at Yarmouth ferry - about 9.15am, that'll upset Ned a bit more!!!

Looking forward to it, Cheers, Steve

Yarmouth?? most people will be coming southampton to Cowes mate, About 40 quid cheaper on that route.
