i think the seat & subframe (with all motors etc) is around 30Kg

28kg for the Drivers electric seat

18kg for Passengers manual.

One of the main reason I have fitted new seats weighing 6kg each

Are they bucket or reclining sports seats?

I was looking at a reclining sports seat that would be lighter and still comfy.

I've even bean offered some Leather Corbeau style seats that are very good quality, but they weigh 18kg each as they have steel frames, forward tilt, with little leaver top of sides of the backs and come complete with slide and tilt runners for the 300.

He want £250 and they are as new but I'm unsure wether to go for them or not.

Cobra Imola S - Bucket seats. I went for bucket seats becuase of the massive weight saving advantage much lighter and I have no need for reclining. They are also FIA Approved. They are suprisingly comfy, but I selected them becuase they suited my shape and seating position, its definatly a case of try before you buy when selecting a bucket seat. With a Recliner you ofcourse have the adjustbality make them more of a "one seat fits all

£250 is a great price for pair of leather sports recliners. I've sat in a few of the Leather recaro styles fitted in a few zed owners cars and they were pretty good, although not quite as good as the genuine leather recaro's.

Not great pics, and parts of my interior was removed at time for retrimming but get the idea:

They match the Paint pretty well too :)

Dave chung is trying to convince me that buckets is the way to go. his have little ajuster cushon fillets that fit in to get it just right for each individual.

They do look nice and go well with the SWB. so I might go try a few at Deemon Theives and see what I think.

I'm getting on now though and comfort means legs not going dead and being able to stand up straight after a 3 hour drive. Which is why I wouldn't have a sports bike for the road these days. Even in my twenties I couldn't stand up properly after riding straight from Manchester to Newquay none stop.
