Well it's happened, Eliza has become extremely ill! And I mean EXTREMELY!!!
I was driving down to Leicester on Friday evening, no problems all the way, until I got onto the M1, then I got a few 'coughs' and 'splutters'! Got off at junction 21a and pulled upto the traffic lights and Eliza died! Took a lot of starting again, then once it was started she was running very rough indeed.
To cut a long story short, after a lot of dieing on me and restarting, I was eventually able to get to Karen's house.
I suspected that the MAF and APEXi might have got wet somehow in the rain, so took them off and dried them out over night (the filter was a little damp) Replaced them in the morning, and took her for a test drive (as she started OK) round the village once and she started to die on me again!
Anyway Eliza is now back home (after another trip on the back of a lorry! :( )
I thought I'd attach my DataScan to Eliza and see if I could come up with anything! But no! Not in the sense of not finding anything out, but the CRAP software wouldn't connect to the ECU (again!) In the six months or so I've own DataScan I've had it connect to my ECU twice so far! This has got to be the worst waste of money I've ever spent on her! ConZult may be expensive, but at least it bloody worked EVERY TIME I wanted it to, DataScan is just CRAP!
So, can anyone help with suggesting where to look for the rough running/dieing?
And can anyone suggest what to do with the DataScan, to get it to bloody work?
Afternoon all :D
