Just got my new engine fitted and it died a few feet from home :(
not been able to start it since. Was having trouble with the injector connectors dropping cylinders but now have replaced all 6 of them.
Car still wont start, tried another ptu as well, no ecu errors and timing is correct. Fitted a brand new set of plugs as the old ones were pretty ditched but nothing.
When the new injector connectors were being soldered in we had to disconnect the battery as got a big spark when one of the bare injector wires touched the plenium as we were soldering.
Mechanic says he has changed the injector plugs on 2 other zeds before and neither of those were live all the time.
Wondering if this could be related to the none starting problem and has anyone ever had this issue with the connectors before?
