what should i look out for when looking at and buying a uk spec 300 zx??

 

also what is the diffrences in the uk and jap spec

so i dont get a jap spec thinking its a uk one as i would like the uk one

The guides above should answer most of your questions, although as your looking for a UK car (presumambly for cheaper insurance because of age?) - then you need to inspect for Rust and corrosion on the Sills (especially the rear part before the wheel arch), around the rear arches and around the suspension turrets under the bonnet. UK zeds can suffer quite badly in these areas.

alth how much more dost the jap one cost??

uk is group 18 and jap is 20. you really need to make sure its rust free (or very little)it will cost a fortune to fix if at all possible
