Some guy is trying to claim this

450rwhp is well documented on stock turbos. That is nearing their upper range, but it definitely has been achieved by many mkiv owners. You do not need bigger injectors but obviously some tuning is necessary. 450rwhp is BPU for a supra. And the fuel system is good up to about 550-600hp from the factory. Some have even gone higher than that.

He is talking a bunch of bull, right?

??? do you have a link?

getting 450 is possible but not at the wheels, and it would need to be a uk car as they have standard 550cc injectors and steel turbos which are good for 1.2 bar and ive seen close to 400 rwhp, to get this all you pretty much have to do with BPU is exhaust, twin decat, restrictor ring set to 1.2 bar in the exhaust, uprated fuel pump as the supra pump is crap, FCD and uprated plugs and thats pretty much it :)

if you do have a uk you can get over 500 rwhp for about £1k

Yep, supra's are very tuneable, as kirbz says 500bhp is

reasonably easy to obtain, i've also been told the autoboxes

are good for 500+bhp.

i looked into buying a supra before i bought my Z and i found that if you convert to a single large turbo it gives at least 450bhp

and enough lag to rock the baby to sleep :D

Still look sh*te next to a zed though!

yes but the zed is always in its shadow image wise and speed wise :(

not at all bud, in fact some of the smaller ones like the 4088r can give 550 rwhp and make FULL boost by 3200 rpm  turbo technology is fantastic at the moment just look at the new porka 911 turbo with its vvt turbos, that puppy hits full boost at around 2200 revs hence why its so quick and no real lag at all :)

dont get me wrong once your up into the 600+ bhp area then your talking lag, the good old T88 turbos dont see much boost below 4500 revs but by 5500 revs all hell breaks loose, the new hks T51 turbos are similar in lag but the smaller one can make 750 rwhp and the bigger one a 1000 bhp :hyper: but again not much below 5000 revs
