what should ya boost drop to when ya take ya foot off the gas,mine goes to -20 on my autometer gauge,is this ok?

Mine goes to -25.

You can get full boost without red lining the engine The higher the revs when the throttle plates are shut, the more air the engine is trying to suck in, the higher the vac guage reads
