I have had a good chat with Leon at Alunox about a group buy on stainless custom exhausts for swb and lwb.

These exhausts would be made to a very high spec to include, sound to owners spec, removable baffles form quite to loud.

You can have a choice of Twin Exit or Single Exit. Prices on the twins to follow shortly but they will be a fair bit cheaper than the single exit.

Single Exit :

£670 individual price

£580 for 5 or more

£540 for 10 (may be a tiny bit less but will confirm)

A few lucky people on the forum have had these exhausts and will testify to their quality.

I would like to know who is interested either a maybe or a def, i will be posting up some pics of his work very shortly.

Thanks :hyper:

You sure james, 4.5inch would end up like a pancake with the road humps round our way :D

lol, there is that!

also need an idea of how loud it is, no point being too loud or i'll get black flagged at trackdays :nono:

leon can make it as loud or quite as you like plus with a removable baffle, its all about what you want from an exhaust. Give him your spec and he will make it. With the single exit 4" is huge !! lol

I cant belive there are no other takers, I have managed to get some cracking prices on these and they really are the best exhausts available for our cars !

Would love one but just about to purchase:

Powertrix Adjustable Front Upper Arms

Powertrix Adjustable Front Tension Rods

Urethane Steering Rack Bushing Kit

KYB AGX Adjustable struts

Eibach springs

Front pads

Think i need a loan, any offers?

Thanks

Paul

is the single exit from the catback or from the centre section back?

can you let me know about this, makes a big difference to the price

i think the lack of enthusiasm is down to the price, even though the group buy price is cheaper, it's still a lot of money for an exhaust compared to other sources. I'm sure the quality is worth it, but not many will be willing to spend that much.

i'm a very likely, but very busy this week, will let you know next week if thats ok

you get what you pay for, not being biased but the quality speaks for itself, theres not many companys that produce exhausts within the same league, id rather pay a little more and know my money is not wasted all IMO off course.

i completely agree, but not everyone shares the same opinion

ok ianl let me know next week mate, and James i know what you mean but after investigating all the options i know these are the best exhausts money can buy, and considering how much we all spend on our Zed's i think its worth it. IMHO

While I'm certanly not knocking Leon's workmanship (it really is outstanding!), for the few extra bhp you'll actually gain from one of his systems, is it really worth double the price of most others out there? Lets be honest the price is almost a third of the price that most people actually paid for the whole car!!!! Like I said, I'm not knocking it, just not surprised you have so little interest ;) Also if you can't answer people's questions about what they're gonna get then you might as well forget it :)

Is it worth payin 1/3 of the price someone paid for the whole car for an exhaust system that will give them a few bhp extra? A boost controller will cost half that etc etc. Most people will not see the benefits from this system when it costs twice as much as others on the market.....

:D Right, im going to finalise this on monday if any one else is interested say now or forever hold you peace. :D

any chance of a pic from the rear of th single? so close to saying yes to the single but torn against the B&B system

I'd Love to partake in one of these systems and the money sounds just about right..... BUT I can't afford one at the moment. Not a lack of interest.... Just a lack of funds.

Good luck with them....

Hi mate there is one at the start of the post but let me know if you need a rear facing shot.

Thanks mate

yes, I would like to see a rear facing shot

man they look good, is that ok jaffa ? I spoke to leon and he said that if you want them coming off at an angle or strait thats also fine and as i said before if you want a different design of rear pipe you can have that in the price.

thanks
