just woke up this morning and saw the council have written

"bollards" outside my flat in front of the area where I park my car, (not a dropped kerb) we have only been living here 5 months and haven't had any formal notice, any idea why this would have happened and can we stop it? i'm going to speak to the council tomorrow

Featured Replies

because it has bollards written next to the correct symbols for bollard entry ;)

you need to get this levied fast mate. I woke up to a kango drill, the fookers had posted it on a bridge.

nothing we could do. now I got a fooking great curb insted of a driveway

I agree! Get hold of the council a.s.a.p. They will probably take ages finding out who takes responsibility for that road, and by that time the contractors who will probably be carrying out the work will have been and gone!

Pity they wouldn't go around writing 'hole' by the craters that seem to be appearing on our roads! and save us a fortune in alloys and suspension bushes!

sorted this morning, apparently as i have a hard standing surface with no dropped curb they can put bollards there without telling me,

i have started the route to get planning permission tog et the dropped curb as I had planned to do this anyway.
