Anyone fancy a group buy on the complete clutch line replacement?

I am going to do a trial fit tomorrow, the place I am going through can supply these for £25ish delivered!

This line replaces the whole junk oem system from the master cylinder directly to the slave.

Put your name down if you are interested?

I've got one of these on my car after it took me 4 DAYS to bleed my clutch and wasted litres of fluid and replaced the slave cylinder as I thought it must be faulty!

The standard pipes get air trapped and it's almost impossible to get it out.

Well worth doing if you're working on any part of the clutch system.

Have got to admit, bleeding these cars can be worse than a feat from mission impossible, and this is the main reason I am putting mine on!

Will the distance be the same with the new lump?

Will the distance be the same with the new lump?

Yeah mate, give or take a few mm. The box sits a bit lower and slightly further back but not by much.

hi everyone well braided clutch line is the way to go, last week was going home when suddenly i started to loose cluch peddle then it wouldnt go into gear at all, after speaking to andy duff he suggested the clutch line so got car on ramp nxt day and found a very small pin hole in the stock clutch line leaking very small amounts of fluid, so i ordered a braided line from mjp got it fitted y-day and one things for sure the cluch feels totaly diffrent bitting points im prooved and theres no sponginess, dont know why i didnt replace it b4..

id recomend evryone to change to braided if the cars evr going up on a ramp but be warned it wasnt easy bleeding the system the gearbox side was ok, but the bleed in engine bay took 40 minutes to bleed it was full of air. neway good luck.

so wots happening is this group buy still happening? if not where can i get one of these from as ill be changing my clutch soon

thanx

Not sure you can get them elsewhere, apologies guys I am a little tied up for a while and am not sure when I can put this on!

seen a clutch line kit on smithys site is this the same ??

no, this one goes from the cars metal pipe work to the slave cylinder and is about 12 inches long. Mark is testing a pipe that goes from the master to the slave and bypasses the annoying metal pipework that causes issues when bleeding the system.

How is your work load now mark? Would you be able to have another try at this?

Cheers

Pete
