just got my zed back from the garage 4 weeks in total .was running sweet before never missed a beat, went in for cam belt, clutch , oik leak , alty

tried collecting it 3 times each time it broke down with 1/4 mile from garage

then when i got it home it had a massive flat spot and a water leak ...he didnt change it when he did the belts.

total cost £2000 picke it up last night broke down

 

got it home ..ticks over then slows right down till it just about runs with a fast ticking noise as it just ticking over any ideas ..

 

the garage says its the wireing cos he said its got a bit britle in the harnes but its not trustworthy to drive no more ..he blames everything on the loom ..was fine before anyone come across this problem before..

it wont rev if i boot it aaaaaaaaarrrrrrgg im so p$**ed off

try the maf connector

Has the radiator got enough coolant in it? My first Z ran really bad when the coolant was low because of a water leak.

there is plenty of water in the rad yes ..

where will i find the MAF connector.

and what does it look like .

The engine loom does suffer from going brittle, if you think its loom or electrical related you could do with getting some one local to plug data scan into it or check the ecu for fault codes

 

maf is in the center front of the car just before the tee on the air intake

 

Could be a big boost/vacuum leak
