Most of the time the car drives normal, then occasionally the tick over fluctuates between 1000 and 1500 then up to 2000, the engine goes lumpy then the fault clears.

Has anyone any ideas what this could be? My nearest Nissan agents are no help at all, they would be if I wanted spotty kids changing the oil on my Micra!

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated as I am a new member with a new toy.

Thanks

Mick

Take off and clean the ECU temp sender and connector first its the simplist area to start and usually solves the problem (yellow connector on metal water pipe that goes into the engine)

make sure you disconect the battery before so, otherwise you will get auxy fan running afterwards, and will have to reset ecu.
