Just been down to cornwall in the Z. Had a slight problem that after a high speed run and a sit in the traffic it started to not fire properly. Would then clear and turbos would kick in and all would be fine.
After stopping for a while and starting off again all seemed fine.
Ths happened a couple of times over the weekend and colminated in the car park at stonehenge. The car dumped some radiator fluid. It turned out to be the cap was loose by a 1/4 turn and one of the brakets had bent making the radiator loose. Put more fluid in, pushed the braket back down and tightened cap correctly and the Z has done the 100 mile or so run home, all be it at a sensible speed, without a problem.
The question is, would this have caused the missing problem that I had.
