Or cycle to the gym. That's what I do on nice days (not that we get many though) and it's a good warm up before you start
swimming will do more for your cardio than cycling bud

running will do more than both :)

I feel your pain! :D Just started going to the gym a month ago. Never been before but the docs recommended it for my Crohns, osteoporosis and recovering broken hip. Luckily I had a good trainer set up a programme so got a good combination of cardio stuff, weights and balance centred excercises. Used to be very fit before my illness kicked off in a big way around the age of 18 and it's the running that I'm really enjoying getting back into (although, since my once perfect balance is now a bit shot due to my gammy hip, staying on the treadmill is a job in itself lol! :D). Only down for doing a 15 minute warm up run but got into my tunes and the "rush" so much the other week that I ended up running 4 miles in 40 minutes lol! :D The other bonus is that almost all the female staff are absolutely drop dead gorgeous...which is nice...:D ;)

yeah it's because your working from home, never as easy.

When i get home from work if the weather is nice i jump on the bike for 6 mile or so, then later that night after all choc bars, i'll do 50 pressups 50 half/low situps think they are squats then 50 full situps but with a twist then another 50 normall and then..... i repeat it all again.

I started to do some leg things aswell to try and get my lower stomach muscles but that really screwed me over so had to stop them.

running will do more than both :)
I don't think Stellaz knee joints could handle the strain :D

Sounds like a cunning plan. :D

I think I might just leave it for another week before I start again after far too long. I haven't been to the Gym since I had mt opperation last year and your post has just worn me out thinking about it.

I run round all the rough areas of town, dragging a tyre behind me on rope tied round my waist, wearing a hooded top and shadow boxing as I go.

Then I do a thousand sit ups hanging from the rafters by my legs.

:duffer:
