I put a thread on here yesterday to give you all a chance of cutting your insurance. As i said yesterday I got a quote for fully comp, legal fee's and breakdown cover for just 180.86. (your zed has to be 1991 or b4 and you need to be over 21 with a clean licience)

I was wondering how you got on with your quotes?? I know a few of you were intrested.

About 4 weeks, Its booked in for a respray in 2 weeks time and hopefully Ill have my interior back by then as well, then all Ive got to do is remember where everything fits :headvswal So is that my old front and rear?? It looks better on yours than it ever did on mine :bow:

how much have you been quoted for the respray alot less than the qoute i got you I guess.

Mine cost a fortune mate lol, looks good tho just needs to go back for a few more jobs. Keeping the exterior totally standard apart from 17's maybe. spending all my money on the engine, brake, suspension ect.

On their classic scheme a) they won't do more than 8,000miles per year and b) they won't do business use and c) it's "intended" for second car use. I asked for a quote based on my 12,000m and business use and daily driver and they said that didn't qualify.

yer its need to be a second car mate, and they wont do business use most people I would have thought would use their zed as a second car. Sorry If I got you all excited.

Just phoned up they wont insure me because its my main car.

plus also "hang on I just need to get a pen and somthing to write on"

i filled all 3 of the points listed above but..... they don't touch cars with mods.

They come off your license after 3 years but you are obliged to inform the insurance for 5yrs :xxx:

o well, ended up being 184.80 fully comp for the year im made up.

They are active or 3 years but remain on licence for 4 years
