omfg!! was just pricing up for a new one myself!!

shower tower, enclosure mosaic tiles on wall and floor and tall chrome tail radiator plus plumbing!!

oh and a new 5hit pan lol!!

what type of hot water system do yu have, you may need a hot water supply tank rigged to a pump to make al the jets work

never used the platic cladding on walls but used it on ceiling's, it doesnt work out much cheaper than tile's, but is quicker and easir for the diy'er, starline is the best stuff to use as its stronger and doesnt dint as easy as the cheaper stuff, quite expensive though

for cheaper wc and basin try B&Q, they have what you call a toilet and basin in a box, they are decent kit and cheap

ive found my kit, put it this way the zed is being put on the sideline, its got jets coming from every angle lol!!

not got a clue what hot water system i got lol apart from it a conventional system so i beleieve i will need a shower pump and 2 bar pressure???

if you have a combi, it wouldnt really work as well as it could, if you have an elson tank, you may run it dry, usually best with a supply tank hot water cylinder and pump

to be honest im not to keen on those shower enclosure's, they give you limited space to shower in, and im sure once the seals are worn they will be prone to leaking

also the condenstaion off a steam shower enclosure would be phenomonal, you would prob end up with mould all over ya bathroom due to the steam escaping when opeening the doors when finished

good point there matey about the seals, i have a hot water tank & would need the pump to make it work, i did price up the cladding against tiles & there was nothing in it so i might go fot tiles with a cladding roof

nice one sarah see you have good taste like me :D

should have seen my old bathroom, brown tiles, brown bath, toilet, shower & sink :hurl: :hurl:

whats the elson tank bud

an elson tank is a big sqaure copper tank that is cladded in hardboard, it has the domestic hot water suppy adn the heating supply tank inside, it usually runs off an old back boiler (back boiler is an boiler that goes behind ya gas fire), they are usually not big enough for power shower's, as the hot water in them runs out before you can get finished showering lol

this enclosure is weirs it has no doors!!

looking at it condensation might be an issue!!

not really, it works the same way as having a shower door on the bath, asl long as you dont have the shower pointing out of the screen it will be ok, you will still get a little splash out of the enclosure but not much

condensation is ok with just showers as long as you have a permanent ven or a fan vent, its just steam rooms that would cause condensation, especially if all the walls are tiled (cold tiles, warm water)
