Right how many people would like a good after market Manifold for the NA. ie Alunox as in Smithy's group buy, Stillen as in the man who really did get TT+ power and performance out of a NA, Z1 a copy of Stillen or Flea Bay.

How much would you think was a good price

How much would you pay for good NA headers 9 members have voted

Leon is off to Oz for 6 months soon so you had better be quick if he has time to knock them up before he go's??

P.s the reason I want a faster N/A is because its more "reliable" power than a TT :D also cheaper to maintain :D

paid £425 for the ones smithy did last year. not managed to get em fitted yet tho :( i think the cheap ones off ebay need some 'adjusting' with a hammer so i'd stear clear of them

£99 is a good price. That is the cheaper of the Ebay alternatives.I paid £150 to see if the others were better???

All Ebay headers AND the real Stillen ones need the RHS O2 sensor boss re locating(£20 job) and usually need a LITTLE modifying with a Birmingham screwdriver to clear the steering column.

Quality???

Up to you to decide. Here is the picture for comparison.

Think I would go for the one nearest the camera.

The question is, How much would I pay, the answer is easy, as little as humanly possible!!

Look at the pics mate I would bet the one nearest is the more expensive you can see by the stud fixing patter it looks stronger, also there is less spatter in the one closer to the camera meaning it was done by a more proffessional welder. IMHO. Am I right Pete?

I hear where your coming from, but these days it just doesn't always follow that the better job is the more expensive. Hence my question.

I would say the top ones are ebay and the bottom ones are from Alunox probably. So far I have had the ebay ones, Stillen ones and currently running with the Alunox version. I dont think the ebay ones would last too long before they split / rusted away.

Yep, top ones are the cheap ones.

Thats cheating!! you have seen them before!!!!!

You are of course correct

i can only speak as I find but my original ebay set was still 100% rust and crack free when I sold the slicktop in Feb after 2 years on the car.

This is the sort of real info people need.

Did you notice any performance gain from the ebay headers though.

i.e. Are the ebay ones more 'show than go'?
