So this is not my best subject at all, tell me i'm looking for a retrim in half leather and half Alcantara, seen many samples of the Alcantara at shows, but what excatly is it ? is there a poor man's version of it and is there any other names it's known by, especially in states, hope someone can answer this.

This is what i want to do.

Seud apparently marks very easily, so they came up with Alcantara whihc is much harder wearing, same stuff they use on Lambo seats ect.

 

The sparco seats offer alcantara and the price goes up 200% lol.

so it is expensive.

I was looking into this too....

 

Basically I got as far as finding someone who can supply the stuff in the UK...

Hi m8 just trimmed my car in alcantara £60 a metre and you need 3 to do the panels in a z, had the faux suede in it before but could not get it anywhere,looks the bizz though

sorry lads for not getting back 2 u just starting on the rear boot section i have fibre glassed the 2 rear panels wich hold the speakers in 2 except 6x9 just trimming this in alcantara has well,has for photos i will get my m8 round with his digi when its finished,on doing the seats,i dont want it 2 look 2 much like macs has mine is red has well but what i might do is have it retrimmed in black leather with red alcantara pipeing watch this space
