Following on from my massive success on the rev limiter post lmao, I'm wondering about one of these. I remember talking to Jay about them and he thought that the way they limited the RPM was a bit ropey, but we didn't decide in the end whether to try one.

 

Anyway, I'm looking at adapting a secondary rev limiter to make a FTS kit. I'm guessing if the Bee-r works ok as a rev limiter, just have a microswitch on the clutch pedal connecting the positive circuit to the rev limiter so it kicks in when you clutch it.

 

Any thoughts? And has anyone actually used one?
