i took my cheap and nasty boost gauge out yesterday after finding a blitz item in with all the spare parts that came with the car (cheers paul ;) ) after fitting it i found i wasnt running the boost i thought i was due to the crap gauge so i turned the boost controller up bit by bit till i got to 1bar it was a cool nite and now am worried incase when the warmer weather comes it mite detonate due to me setting the boost on a cool nite? car is chipped, uprated smic's, upgraded tubs, exhaust etc

just be careful, listed for the det (like popcorn cooking) or have a lower setting on your boost controller and use that when its really warm, you shouldnt really have any issues if you have the correct cooling ie uprated intercoolers

i ALWAYS run the car on Vpower i would rather run out of petrol trying to get to a shell station than put anything else in.

lol never seen or heard popcorn cooking but i can tell when an engine isnt happy about something, am just a bit wary about det as it killed my last toy
