Sounds like tubby seals, mine used to do exactly the same. The rear seals allow oil to pass into exhaust then it gets heated up and just gives off a grey/white smoke.

hi bu if it was tubby seals then it do it all the time wouldnt it? i put this seal thing in which was recommended by a local shop guy, but its not made a diffrence! counldnt it be my pvc valves? see the car it self since january 05 the car has done no more than 400 miles and for a continuous 16 months it was stood in a outdoor compound....

It'll do it intermittently as it builds up and then once you've given it a blast it'll clear for a little while. The only way of cureing the problem is with new turbos, try changing your PCV valves first though.

If it takes a few turns to start it could be compression or lack of it, especially if you have a weak head gasket which would explain the white smoke, which would indicate water, do a compression test. But you will get some white smoke when you first start the car anyway as this is just condensation, but burns off once warmed up if the engine is sound
