This car is well known in the SW to club members and is now in my ownership. As with all new toys you want to change them to reflect your own personallity. Initially I did not like the 3 spoke Advan wheels but they have started to grow on me, and besides they all have good rubber on, for now. When their a bit worn I may decide to change both the wheels and the tyres, undecided as yet. The main bone of contention is the rear spoiler which is......huge, and totally blocks the rear view which coupled with the very stylish mirrors which I can also see feckall out of makes driving quick very tenuous as you cannot spot the old bill until he is right on your tail. The exhaust is an HKS Superdragger which sounds like a WWII Shackleton Bomber flying just over your head. You certainly dont want to be coming home late with this exhaust or even worse leaving early in the morning, not if you still want to be talking to your neighbours. Anyway here are some pics and I am definitely changing to a quieter twin pipe system and thinking about going smooth tail. What do you think lads...

They do a nice lip spoiler on the old soarer but probably too narrow for a Zed.

I'm talking about the one from Zcentre......

Maybe change the wheels??

Thats it then Si, 99 spec lights it is, how about a 99 spec spoiler or shall I go smooth tail.

i'm sure the 99 spec rear spoiler also blocks rear vision. if you want to see out the back you need either a high rise spoiler, std pre 94 spoiler or smooth.

The spoiler I have on my car is the one I always wanted to buy when I had my silver Z, but now I have it I cant see feck all out the rear which is annoying, especially as I can see feck all out of the side mirrors too lol. Mines the viper one i think.

Nice AB-flug front bumper and AB-flug Wheels. The Aerokraft rear spoiler is hidious I'd bin that and the side skirts, but if you decide the front bumper has to go then I may be interested.

Oh yes and 99 spec rear lights are a must for a black Zed

I am quite happy with the front, it that bookshelf on the back I need to sort. The wheels are acceptable but I certainly would not have chosen 3 spokes myself.

Those wheels are very big in Japan. I went to a recent Skyline meet and 3 out of the 5 cars had those wheels in various colours.

Quite like them myself and I hate the normal style 3 spokes.

99spec tends to block out the headlight and grill area of any cars following you. So you can see behind you, you just cant see what is behind you LOL

Not a good situation to be in when driving briskly. I am leaning towards a smooth tail unless I can find a neat smaller type spoiler. I have also just purchased some normal J-spec door mirrors which will also improve vision.

TBH I think the spoiler fits in well with the rest of the body kit. If you were going to remove the spoiler it may look pretty good with just a tail skin on it.

99 spec rear lights would look very nice and I think the wheels if you are going to keep them, I would try getting them black chromed, but then with wheels that show allot of the internals, it would be an idea to clean up the brakes, i.e. drilled or groved gold cap brake discs and paint the capliars.

Try putting the pics in the photoshop forum and ask people to remove the spoiler, change the wheels, put some 99 spec rears on, change discs and paint the calipars plus anything else you thing would look good. That way you can design your car before you actually spend any money or time.

Imo throw that stupid spoiler in the bin incase any one else is silly enough to spoil a beautiful car, smooth the back end, get a body shop to paint the wheel spokes black same colour as the car, and the centres and it will prob make the wheels look bigger and blend better, thats all you need to do as your car is stunning, just my opinion !! but i think im right

Yeah I like these smooth ends. I thought about smoothing my new Z, at the moment it has a giant red spoiler which im not sure if i like or not.

And what are 99spec light how much where can I get some?

Sorry im a newbie.
