Aerial Fallen out!

Heya just bought a 300zx a 1991 TT, Targa Manwell and had it a few days and the motor has pushed the aerial all the way out and it fell on the floor!have tried getting it back in by turning the Ignition key to off so the Motor Retracts the Cable but i cant get any luck

 

Any suggestions??Dont really wan2 pay some1 20quid for it seems abit pointless!!
