good luck hun.... i aint no expert.. but hope you sort it on time

are you sure its not the connector eileen ?

I've tested those as well mate they are fine and I have a whole set of connectors and coilpacks, as well.

I had a look at the faulty one it's covered in green verdigris or however you spell it. Clean that off then I got Prof to use his meter to check it's output and compare it with the other one's it's the only one with no output on the meter and the wiring connections looks doggy. No resistance whatsoever. :( :( :(

This one's by the look of it has been fiddled around with in the past. :(

I think its stuck open as there's a nice strong smell of petrol now as well.

I did the thing of puting a sparkplug and things together and it sparked all right. It's the blast injector that's stuck open leting in too much petrol and flooding it

Before you go the whole hog and replace the injector, check the wiring all the way back to the ECU connector.

good luck hun.... i aint no expert.. but hope you sort it on time

Thanks Athene as I'm hoping to run him down the dragstrip for the first time, I've been really looking forward to it but been really scared as well.

Yep Andy have looked at some of it so far apart from the bit near the coil packs it looks okay it's the top bit and that corroded as far as I can tell and the pins that were all clogged up with the green verdigris.

The light beat me again I'll have to leave it now till thursday :(

hope you get it fixed and get to the meet

Thanks Lampy mate, I so want to run my Zed down the Pod.
