track rod info please

i had a look at my track rod ends today and the two rear and front, passenger side are fuc£ed and i need to know are the rear track rod ends(if they are track rod ends, please correct me if im wrong) the same as the front track rod ends?

    No they are not, and to be honest, the play in the rear's, is usually at the end where they screw into the Hicas unit, instead of the outside ball joints, like where the fronts wear out.

    its not that the wheels have got any play, its the rubber around the track rod ends has deteriated and i have got my MOT soon and i dont think they will pass it with them like that

    I seem to remember that the rubbers need to be intact, Paul C is our resident MOT tester I believe.
