Hi

I have just found out I need a new radiator for my Automatic Jap 1992 TT

I have read there are some differences between the NA and TT ones, not to mention Auto and Manual..

any ideas if this one will fit my car?

Cheers,

That looks as tho it will do the job for the auto. It has the autobox cooler fitted inside the rad, thats what the lugs are for 1/2 way down the rad :D

Cheers Guys...............

I was looking at uprated ones, but they were too expensive and this new one at £120 looks as though it will do the job. (esp considering 2nd hand ones are around £80, a brand new one for £40 more seems a good deal.)

I thought they were only about £130 from Nissan? Could be wrong it's years since I bought a standard one.

Yep, that rad is for a Jap auto TT. A UK spec one has the oil cooler tanks down each side.

As you're going to the trouble taking that apart, it would be wise to fit an aftermarket auto box oil cooler - your gearbox will love you for it and last longer !

I got a quote of £300 a few years ago.

Thus i went for a Koyo.

Wouldnt be without it now.

Yeah I thought £300 would be nearer the nissan mark....I finally went to the local breakers......£60 it cost.

I can se why you went for the Koyo. Did you get a seperate oil cooler?

Does anyone have any ideas where to get them from and how much?

You can get oil coolers from z centre i think.

There are ones that will do the job adequatly for less than a hundred quid, sorry im not allowed to tell you where, maybe try ebay?
