Got this annoying squeeking coming from the front drivers side, its not evident over large bumps in the road, just when i'm driving along normally, would a tension rod bush cause this ???? Its really getting on my tits. the front wheels have been of so much recently I cant bear to take it off again.

You sure it's not the bonnet catch, try wrapping some electrical tape round the catch and see if that helps.

Probably only sounds like the drivers side as you have the drivers window open.

It's the most common cause of squeeking.

bonnet catch you say, i'll investigate and come back. Just done the shocks and the upper arms so dont think it will be them. still got the stock rods on though ( I know bad idea) will get a set from smithy next week.

annoying squeaking??? - was the wife with you? lol

is it all the time or only on cold wet days.. coz my front wheel arch does squeek when Driving over bumps on cold wet days!

Check the dust covers on the lower ball joints, if they are split, could be dirt in the joint, failing that, you'll have to check all the moving parts, personally, I'd just give all of it a liberal spraying of WD40 around all the moving parts!

i have a squeek over bumps from my left side suspension top mount i have stopped it for a couple of weeks by using grease but the bugger came back. try there.

its most of the time as it goes, if the car is left over night its fine to begin with then after abit off a drive and a few bumps the pain starts, make it go away someone. its even worse than the girlfriend nagging me i can ignore that, hope she doesnt read this, think a tub of grease is in order

upper arms, remove & grease! better still fit roller bearing adjustable upper arms - cured mine :D

i spent hundreds replacing all of mine for adjustable upper links and tension rods and it is deffo the top mount on mine anyhow. on rainy days the squeek is less/gone only when i want to pose on dry days the dam noise is there. sounds like mice on my wheel arch lol.

had similar with mine turned out to be the headlight panel bolts had worked loose and it was rubbing/squeeking - realigned, replaced rubber grommets and tighted bolts and problem solved. Took ages to suss it out, but wish all zed snags were that simple to correct. Just a thought, good luck

its nothing as daft as dust in the disc is it causing a high pitch squeal (something to do with vibration or something) .On my dog carrier (Laguna estate) I get it a lot, drives me mad sometimes

i dont think so its not really a squeel from the brakes, its like something is moving/ vibrating, tell you what its like, those balls you get for pets that when you shake em they like squeek. looks like i'm gonna have to have the wheel off and get the grease gun filled up.

I too have a bad squeek. Mines at low speeds on flat and over bumps but seems to move in time with the wheel revolutions. Drives me mad!!
