Hi All

ย

Having spoken to several of the Midlands Members over the past couple of weeks, they were of the opinion that, with all whats is going on on the meet side of things i.e. Jap Tuning Show at Silverstone yesterday, Jap Show at the Pod coming up shortly and the Thoresby Show at the beginning of next moth, the calender was beginning to a look a litte crowded, and trying to set a date for a meeting in June would be virtually impossible, which could also affect the amount of people attending.

Therefore, bearing in mind the views of the members, there will be no official Midlands Meet for June.

Will keep July under review and see how that pans out.

Regards

Dave

Or we will run out of money to buy it!!!

Less than 4 weeks to Thoresby. Jap show at da Pod on 23/24.(24th will be the best day. IMO)

And the Dyno day at Thor on the 30th

ย

Wise move me thinks and July is pretty much booked for me as well.

Am looking at July at the moment, members thoughts would be appreciated on this. I don't want to arrange a meet and only one or two people turn up, the attendance at the last few meets has been tremendous and I want to keep uo that standard. By the way, there is a meet on Friday 8th at The White Horse Inn, Empingham, Rutland at around 7.30pm, this has been arranged by the JapGirls and initially was a arranged to meet up with Jay (Z EVo Guy), but due to circumstance which people are aware off, he won't be there, but the meet is going ahead as a gesture of support for Jay, Charlie and myself through this period of uncertaintany for the three of us.

Cheers

Dave

Oh yeah, and ALL in the Midlands

...ooh and the annual Bruntingthorpe charity day should be on Sunday July 29th, although there's limited invitations for this and most of the places have been taken up already. Im still waiting for the organisers to get back to me regarding the details. Those that have been to this know its a cracking day out :D

My opinion on this is that we simply havent got a day available in July with all the above mentioned events going on.

Most of us will be a some of the July events so we will still be in touch anyway. :duffer:

And hopefully July will be too hot for Sunday roasts anyway!!! :D

Thanks for your comments, decision made that there will be NO official Midlands meet for July, as once again there are plenty of meets on and as Daves Zed rightly so, majority if events are in the Midlands area.

So next meet will probably be in August, hope to see some of you at the events and I know will see several at Ashby next Tuesday

Can I shamefully make sure my name is at the top of the list for a pass for this. It was an excellent day last year, and free track time shouldn't be sniffed at.
