Well that aint bad, some people dont even earn 40k and do it

You are correct. But having lived with the higher income you kinda adjust to it and when its gone the bottom drops out and even on 40K it is tight. The expensive things have to be put on hold until my debts drop sufficiently to be able to spend a bit on the car.

EDIT: I wasnt complaining BTW. its a very good wage I get now. But I am good at my job and its taken a lot to get here the last job had no future it was just good mo ney and a poxy job. There are blokes in their 20's doing the same job on the same money. Fair play to them I say.

yep that is the trouble no matter how much you earn we always live up to it, you buy a bigger house a more expensive car etc even if you dont need to we do it because we can, then it all goes wrong and drops us in the shit so we have to sacrifise something

I went from 60 hours a week on £25 PH. To £17. PH for 35 hours and now I am on £19. PH for 40 hours plus at least one shift a week OT. Things will look up. I might as well go all the way and do me dirty washing in public. My monthly outgoings are on average £2400. before we eat.

Still as I said I cant gumble.

6 years ago SAZ I was on £17K I just put myself forward for different courses and worked my way up the ladder. The top isnt a far as you might think you know?

ime self-employed,have been since i was 17 and theres no month the same, when i have my meetings with the bank for cashflow projections he asks and i just sit there smiling and think to myself "you aint got a clue you fvking pleb" the only garantee is my workforce of 3 still want payin every friday and have been since time begun and rightly so

I always whinge about my job but for working in a call centre i cant complain, i could go back into legal training but after working in it for 2 years i must be honest i found it boring.

i am not on a bad wage for working in a call centre and i love the folk i work with, sometimes i wish i hated the place so it pushed me into trying to do better for myself, but such is life.

Bloody hell mate!!!

Thats amazing for 6yrs worth of hard work   Well done mate :D

Im getting to that point now where im sitting still and earning crap money so need to do something as Im closer to 30 then 20 nowadays :(

I worked it out last summer that I have driven over 200,000 just for work alone and its mindnumbing!!

Im on less now at 27yrs old then I was when I was 18yrs old but that was back home in london and up here doesnt seem to compare wages wise but i have a good quality of life and can let my boy out to play a little more easily then I could have done In london so its swings and roundabouts and tells you where your priorites lie.

Id prefer to have Job happyness like saz, vinz and jay then earn craploads and not enjoy it or lose the other important stuff around me.

Ps: Any Jobs going at yours vinz? I make a mean tea and have perfected the rub-chin / peering hard enough untill it fixes itself look

Is it worth slogging your guts out to earn a good wage and killing yourself in the proses? No good being the richest corpse in the grave yard

lol true but then again he might be the happiest man in the world The happiest man in the world is the man who has nothing and is content to have nothing.

Well till now i've been working for myself and making about 22k a year, not really enough trade to make as much as i could but loads of time to work on the zed/clean it.

Now i've started work on 26k a year plus an additional 14k a year from the business part time (don't tell em!) but i get no spare time.

I am working on making my life a hell of a lot easier though by writing reusable sites.

I don't have any spare time any more unfortunately at the moment while i catch up but i have enough to spend on the zed and run it

lol true but then again he might be the happiest man in the world The happiest man in the world is the man who has nothing and is content to have nothing.

   sounds like one of them kung fu "you may leave the temple" proverbs

What I earn is never enough

THAT MAKE'S 2 OF US ... :D

...

well i'm a mature student so i have no income at all realky apart from the student loans. can't afford to do anything to my car tho :(

I earned more when I was 24 than I do now, but I hated that job with a vengeance. I like the job I do now, and although the pay sucks, I can piss off at 5PM, get good holidays and spend time with the zed, vette and kids  .

earn at least 50k from the commitee role each year..
No wonder the 2006 committee elections are still on the back burner!
Yes... but it is showing exactly what I thought it would....

There are more zed owners here in the less than 30k bracket than the over 30k bracket....

Just going to show that owning a supercar is now within the reach of the majority...

or maybe it just proves that we are bonkers

I think bonkers is about right lol :D
