I thought that I had seen something about this the other week but can't find now, so apologies if this has been covered previously.

I have had my Zed less than a month and this week I did a simple fuel consumption test. I filled up the tank and then set the tripometer to Zero. Tonight I filled the tank and it took 37 litres (8.23 Gallons) to fill it, while the tripometer showed 104 (I am presuming that these are KM as it is an import) which is 64.59 miles. This that means that the car is doing about 8 miles to the gallon!!!!!!!.

Any suggestions of what can cause this level of fuel consumption

...they will be miles...

Does the speedo indicate the speed that you are traveling at in miles per hour? If so, then it records miles not Kms.

Good luck - still not great.

Watch the trip... is it actually turning all the time?! Does 65miles seem reasonable?

Mine used to stick a lot. Dismantled it, cleaned and lubricated it and it hasn't missed a beat since.
