Just wondering who and when was this forum actually set up by??

Looked in the members list to see who was the oldest member and its Hairsy since 2000!

Any more info people??

This site was set up by NICO and CRAIG years ago.........

 

Do a search for those names. Craig had a pretty much standard white UK TT, but Nico had a mega modified Z......... that was never finished lol... I think i saw it once in Billing 2002.

 

Search a few posts, see what you can find.

Dear God that brings back memories!!! Even found some old pics of my car under the Rides section. Cheers for that, brought back some memories of the first ever meet in Nottingham!

Yep!! still here from day 1, That was Nicos site from years ago, Craig set this one up and spoke to Nico about bringing the two together. So with Nicos input this place was born.

The first members were Craig, Nico, DaveW, Hairsy and myself. A few more have joined since then though!!

My Leaving cert(A-Level equivalent) starts on Wed so aint been in school since last Wed as it is supposedly time to study...or sit on this!!

Do you live in Dublin?. If so, how are you going to afford the insurance. I worked over there last year and there was guy in our office who was 21 and he was paying 1700 euro on a fooking escort 1.4. AND, the car tax is horrendous over there. Are you going to import it from the UK?. If so, then you will also have to pay import duty into Ireland and that's a fortune as well!!.

 

I don't think your backside will be in a Z soon.

God would you believe yes i have been in more than one since my cousin has one in Newcastle, and only last Sunday there was a meet over here and og that was another one, plus the meet before that i even got in two!! Oh yeah VRT well that is easily passed if i Buy the car in england work over there for 6months and then import the car as i can then prove i have owned it for 6months and bought it without the intention of bringing it into Ireland therefore saving around €1800

I like your style. I did that with my Audi A8. I registered it the day I arrived and said I was moving over there. The book price on mine was about £7K but I sold it the week before I left for 13000euro. cars are so dear over there it's criminal.
