Yeah the front lights just should never have been like that! Should of made it like the zed just smaller! Not sure whether it is rear wheel drive!

digital dash is cool but i'm not sure about that TBH. pretty high mileage IMO.

true well im going to have to get my skates on finding something! Need it for the end of August and i have very big plans for my first car so need the time to do the mods!!

Bloody hell finally got you round to it, i remember recomending the 100nx for you last year, i think it is a good start once you've got a bit of no claims then you can graduate to the 200sx then the 300zx. I dont think its a bad car to start your driving career on at least its a nissan and they can be done up quite good

yup beats your one litre corsa all the young ones are buying to barry up, although would you not prefer to get a little old crappy run about, just so you can drive about cheap, get your no claims and the be able to get your hands on a zed sooner?

im just thinking of insurance on the 100 thats all

Well i have been into cars since i was 8 years old and dont want something crap i want something half decent!! Just wondering if i am second driver and the first driver has no claims bonus but i get it protected does that mean if i crash then he keeps his ncb???

Crotchrocket, it's FWD. Personally I dislike them. The front end is just so ugly. Other than that, they are certainly something different and a nice change over modified Corsas/Clios/Saxos that most younguns seem to like.

Personally prefer the Toyota Paseo/Cynos. Only downside is that they don't have T-Tops.

I know a couple of people with the 100nx and they love it, still got your targa tops and ye better than being in the corsa, nova brigade. go for it... ;)

Yeah i am seriously tempted the only prob being going to a zed meet i can just imagine the slags that Tulip, Mick and DMAPrelude will give me!!

I like digital dashes. Something I feel the Z should have come with. Something that would match the digital climate control AND the clock. I'd love one to be honest. Think it would match the car really well. IIRC, Nissan were planning on fitting a digital dash to the Z32, but it never came to fruition. As to exactly why, I'm not sure. Probably due to spiraling production costs I'd imagine.

You’d obviously need to modify that. IE, the dash in that most likely only reads up to something like 130mph, the rev counter will be setup for a 4pot engine. There’s also no check control for HICAS etc.

Well is there not a supercar that has a digi dash, like the NSX, RX-7, Supra.....anything that could be robbed??

lexus soarer has one doesent it?

Lexus/Toyota Soarer would be the one I'd go for. IIRC, none of the above came with them.

Well would it not be a case of taking you dash off, going to a scrap yard n buying one from there and fitting it.........im waiting for the abusive its harder than that!

It'll be a lot more work. Again, you'd need to modify it to fit the check control of the Z32, then modify the dash binacle of the Z to be able to accept. IIRC, it's quite a bit larger.

Are you Gonna Buy this 100NX then?

What other options are there Group 7 insurance and 116bhp

Ah see i am in Rep of Ireland and since there Irish we dont actually do insurance n groups and power..........we use engine size normally. As this is a 1.5 my quote would be aound the €1600 mark putting my dad first driver and myself second with his ncb protected

have you past your test yet?

No see over here we have a different system.....its a complete sham but still:

1) Pass a theory test which gives you the right to a provisional licence...fully licenced driver supposed to be in the car with you..police do not inforce it

2) Apply for the driving test(lessons not needed) then wait the year long wait and then pass the test to get the Full Licence!!

I know people who have been driving for 5 and 6years and are still driving on a provisional as it is not inforced that you need a fully licenced driver in the car...you can go on the motorways if you want and everything even though law stat's it is illegal!
