I don't play very well at all but I thought I would get myself a new accustic, cos my boy has stolen my elecric and is banging out AC/DC like you wouldn't believe (he is just turned 13 and been playing since christmas, git bag)

 

So on the net I go and I have found Hotel California and wow I picked it up in less than 5 minutes. I'm stocked I can't believe one of my most favourit songs that aleays sounds so hard to play is rather easy.

 

I just have to learn to sing at the same time now :rofl:

My mate used to call me MR strings, not cos i'm good but cos I kept missing the strings :rofl:

 

I've been learning for about 15 years but only started makeing headway this last year or so.

Nice one mate. I'm in a similar postion, been playing for years but although my fingers can do it, my ears don't really match them (oo-err). I want to finish the exams I'm doing and spend some time really getting into it this year. The missus does percussion in a band that are playing some festivals next month. They're hoping to hit the big time, the guitarist has been up and down the business and nearly hit the big time a few times so knows the score. 3rd time lucky?! I hope so as its about time the missus paid some rent!
