What a crappy day.......

As title really......

It's wet and horrible outside.

We went to Makro this morning to stock up on toilet paper, washing powder etc as there was nothing else to do. Anyway, Julia spotted a bargain - a triple DVD collection of the A-Team for a tenner (once VAT added). Not so bad then........

Just as we were driving out, I thought the car felt a bit strange so I pulled over only to find a front tyre was completely flat. Not the ZX BTW, but the Rav-4.

As it was pissing down, my first thought was to call the RAC; especially as the poncy OEM jack would be hard work lifting a 4X4 off the ground. However I didn't fancy waiting around in Acton (it's not too great an area and we wanted to get back to the safety of Bucks ASAP ;) ) so I changed it myself. In the rain. Very wet and not happy and I hate having dirty hands....... :mac1:

Anyway we stopped off at one of our favourite Italian restaurants for lunch on the way home. After a quick clean up in their toilets and a nice plate of veal, saute potatos etc, followed by a chocolate tartufo I was feeling better.

Until we got home.........I opened the (sealed) A-team DVD only to find they had filled it with Knightrider DVDs :slap: B@stards!!! Now I do like Knightrider more, BUT I ALREADY HAVE THE FEKKING DVDs THAT ARE IN THE BOX!!!

And it's not worth the 75 mile round trip just to return it either :nono:

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
