This thread will be used to notify all subscribed members of any bans issued by members of the club committee or a club moderator. This is in response to several requests by our subscribed members for a public banlog.

 

All details of bans will be entered in the Banlog by the Membership Secretary.

 

The Membership Secretary will post as much information as possible (How, Why and How long).

 

Please remember, this thread is not an area for forum discussion about bans. It is simply a public noticeboard for subscribed members to recieve information regarding bans from the club committee.

Lets Drift ~ issued with permanent ban from the club and loss of all benefits.

 

Let's Drift was issued with a temp 7 day ban approximately six weeks ago. She was issued with this ban for attempting to cause trouble in the club and was warned to abide by the club's AUP on her return.

 

Lets Drift chose to ignore this warning and posted numerous anti-club and in particular, anti-Committee post last Sunday evening.

 

The Club Committee had no alternative than to issue this ban.

andyduff ~ issued with temporary one month ban.

 

Continuing to post in the Committee Announcements Banlog after deletions by a moderator. His posts were anti-Community, anti-Club and anti-Committee.

As many of you may be aware, Andy was issued with a temporary one month ban last Wednesday for continuing to post anti-club and anti-committee comments on the board.

 

Andy has requested I post the following statement from himself

 

 

I fully apologise for the comments I made against the committee and the club. I am fully aware of the AUP and the correct procedures for complaint. My posts were uncalled for. I hope this will be accepted and we can move forwards in a positive manner from this.

 

 

 

In light of Andy's apology, the Committee has decided to lift his ban. Andy is fully aware of the Club's AUP and understands he's on his last chance.

As far as the Committee is concerned, this matter is now closed.

prof ~ issued with permanent ban from the club and loss of all benefits.

 

Let's Drift has been using Prof's account to access the forum, leaving the Club Committee no alternative but to close this account also.

Paul@SWZ ~ issued with temporary 7 day ban.

 

Reason: Continuous posting of anti Club/Committee comments. His first post was moderated and soft deleted. he reposted a further three times, leaving the Club had no alternative than to issue this ban.

Andyduff has been Suspended for an initial 3 day's pending a formal committee decision, with reference to his recent behavior.

 

Reasons:

 

1. Abusing his Moderation Privileges, but UN Deleting a thread, that had been Deleted by another Moderator.

 

2. Sending Abusive, and inflammatory Private Messages to a Moderator.

Nad300 ~ issued with permanent ban from the club and loss of all benefits.

 

Nad300 has been issued with a permanent ban for continuous unauthorised trading on the forum. He has been warned at least half a dozen times by either myself, Shunter or znut. Each time he recieves a warning, he chooses to ignore them.

 

If any members are currently in transactions with him, they will need to contact him via an alternative method.

MadModder ~ issued with 3 day suspension until the isue is discussed with the full Committee. He will be notified of the outcome.

 

He was suspended for posting threads that had been deleted by a forum Moderator.

 

Secondly for posting comments like this in the open forum.

 

"Well! How would members on here like to know the fact the chair on this forum is sitting illegally- yes there are laws on how a club must be run. the post was within forum rules and there for should not be removed. oh and just for interest my ip is rotated regularly so an ip ban wont stop this"

The 300ZX.co.uk Club Committee have discussed your membership to our club, in particular the events of the past couple of weeks and your decision to start another 300ZX car club.

 

You have made it public on numerous occasions, that you do not like (to put it mildly) the way 300ZX.co.uk is run, in particular the way in which the current Club Committee manage the club on a day to day basis.

 

You have therefore decided to start another 300ZX car club, which both you and Andy are running. We obviously have no way of preventing you doing this; however, we feel this club is in direct competition with 300ZX.co.uk.

 

We see this as your way of splitting the already dwindling 300ZX community in this country. Many posts in your new forum by several of your members are seen as anti-300ZX.co.uk.

 

All members are expected to follow the guidelines in our club’s Acceptable Use Policy. We feel, by you starting this rival club and allowing anti 300ZX.co.uk posts, you have contravened the two extracts listed below.

snowygt ~ suspended for 3 days while the Club Committee investigate.

 

Snowygt was contacted by the National Events Organiser this morning via Private Message. He was informed that the Club was removing his REO status. The PM was very polite and did thank Chris for his efforts since taking over the position earlier in the year.

 

Chris decided to post this PM on another forum and in the opinion of the NEO, this was done to react bad feeling between the two clubs. This isn't the first time Chris has done this. Less than two weeks ago Chris posted a thread in our Club, blatantly making fun of the Club Chairman (in bad taste). This thread was immediately moderated, however, Chris decided to post anti 300ZX.co.uk posts in another forum about this issue. He was warned about this at the time.

Chutney has been Banned for 1 week.

 

Reason - After recieving an infraction for trying to Sell for the 2nd time as a registered user, he chose to voice his displeasure in the public forums.

after being asked to voice his complaint in the correct manner by e mailing the TLO, he then chose to start 2 more threads in the Public forums to carry on the argument.

This was taken as an Inflamatory Action.

mandy ~ Issued with permanent ban.

 

"mandy" has been issued with a permanent ban from the club. This user registered tonight using a banned members email address. The email address belonged to Andy Duff.

Arkwright ~ Issued with 7 day temporary ban.

 

"Arkwright" has been issued with a 7 day teporary ban. The ban was issued for a breach of the club's AUP "Incitement to a flame war within this or another forum".

Bigrod ~ Issued with permenant ban.

 

"Bigrod" : A few days ago, had his account temporarily suspended for continuing to attempt to sell his car (he's a Registered User), despite several requests to stop by forum moderators. His account was reactivated last night and he immediately stating again with his advertising. His attempts were moderated.

 

He then posted the following statement;

 

Threads now being closed for replying to new joiners ... too many ****ing ****ers on this site . I recon a HTTP DDoS Attack is needed to teach them all a lesson

 

We see this as a threat of a deliberate attack to the club's website and the kind of threat we have to take seriously and TBH a type of user we could well do without.

For this reason, the guy has been issued with a permanent ban from the club.

Graham_Foley69 ~ Issued with permenant ban.

 

"Graham_Foley69" : This guy was breaking his Zed in Nov/Dec 2006. He took some serious cash from some of our members (can't remember who they all are, off the top of my head). He didn't deliver his part of the bargain, leaving members without goods they had paid for. He went to ground and hasn't been seen since. He has logged in to the forum this evening, some 30 months later.

 

For this reason, the guy has been issued with a permanent ban from the club.

Clownpants ~ Issued with a Permanent Ban

 

Evidence has been brought to the Committee's attention that Clownpants is in fact an Alias for Scottywil, who is currently serving an existing Permanant Ban, so Clownpants is there for in breach of the AUP.
