heard a loud BANG tonight, ironicaly about 2 minutes after passing Carl.

drives fine and wasnt teh engine.

 

untill about 5 minutes later and 1st gear sounds like its got a cat stuck in there. and while i am reversing I can feel like what can on;y be described as the ABS working through the brake pedal.

 

will investigate 1st thing tomro

    sounds like shaft bearing exploded and shaft floating about and out of line when selecting reverse, does it squeel in second too as both gears on same shaft? Lets hope its not though, assuming your car is manual.
