in line fuse on ignition????

is the white live wire that goes into the back of the ignition go through a relay or an inline fuse because it is dead?? had to run a wire direct from the battery to start her up.

    got exaxtly the same thing, my starter motor was a bit dodgy, heard a fuse pop when i tried to start it, can i find the bloody 1 that went! cus its not in the 3 fuse boxes i can find. i just ran i new 12v feed to the ignition.
