ball joint info please

i would like to change my ball joints soon for my MOT, am i right in thinking that the rear suspension is ball joints and the front are track rod ends, can any one please give me any info at all about changing them, how easy it is, and the prices for them?

    Rear is lower ball joint-not counting the small Hicas ones!

    Front is lower ball joint,track-rod ends are on the ends of the rack,HTH!
