hi ron

welcome to the club

it could just be a faulty gauge as they are not the most accurate or reliable of devices.

How does the car feel? can you feel the turbos kicking in at around 2.5-3000 rpm?

At low revs/idle it should read negative anyway. Should only go into postive after about 2k rpm when giving it some. Foot off the throttle, should always be negative.

it seems fast to me , maybe i need to get better gauges.....

are dump valves a good idea too ..

dump valves just make a noise and some claim there are performance advantages however it is debatable.

Bring it to the meet we are having in chester at the weekend and we'll have a look at it.

Pete

300zx has dump valves as standard, they are just the recirculating variety so they dont make the "noise".
