depends how many songs you want on it??

if its 10 or 20 albums then go for a 4gb one or if you want to do a massive collection then maybe a 20 or 40gb one.

tbh i got the really small one with 1 or 2 gb memory and it holds 6 or 7 albums which is more than enough and its tiny :) plus there about £50 LOL

found one on ebay 8gb nano brand new for 119.99 seller has a 99.5% positive rating, think i might go for that unless anyone has any other suggestions?

If you ignore the ihype of the ipod and don't follow the other ilemmings there are lots of alternative MP3 players available that give the same of greater storage for less investment. And lots of the USB based ones make it a bit easier to load you're music on too.

Id defently go for a large capacity one. The mrs' has a 2gb nano, great bit of kit but i use it for audio books when we go to Les Angles which is about a 5 hour drive and i can only get 4 books on it or about 15 albums.

Quality of FM transmitters isn't always that good - go for a wired connection if poss. My head unit has a 3.5mm jack socket in the front which is brilliant, if not you can often lash something up with an auxiliary phono socket on the back.

Incidentally, the FM transmitters are available separately from gadget shops.
