fortunatly the 300zx turbo-manifold gaskets are much better quality, you would not want to take the engine out every 55k miles LOL

LOL the table needs varnishing :p

4k and the mundano :D

Nice lookin motor there Greg.. seems to be a common fault on the S14a's i used to get thru a turbo gasket evry 6 months .. was fine untill i started to tinker with the boost pressure

That's so not fair! I mean you take 90 mins to get the turbo off and you dont even have to take the engine out!! ;)

Anyway. Should be good as new with a new gasket. One thing i hate on cars is a blowing exhaust, it just sounds so crap. So it feels like a brand new quiet car when they're fixed

LOL i exagerated whole job took 4hours off and back on  it is handy to have more room, although its not a 300, so you cant have it all.

i'd take your arm off for it if only i had the money :(

am open to PX matey, its a fair few quid, but there is no problems with the car so its worth it to the right person

cheerZ, Yes is a common problem, although the thickness off the new gasket iv fitted should outlive the turbo and the car, i should expect the outcome running 1 bar of boost :D

Greg, where did you get the solid metal gaskets from? Will be changing the turbo elbow and exhaust soon, so I figured I may fit some decent gaskets in the process.

its pretty much standard issue mate, i used a t25 gasket as there all universal to majority of turbos even out t28, so just order a genuine nissan 300zx gasket from mike feeney, there around £15.00
