Maybe we should all remove our e-mail addreses of here, its easy enough to get if you want someones address,

or maybe their is a way for craig to make them more secure?

ANY SUGGESTIONS CRAIG

it cant be nice getting put on email lists off dodgy companies like what some of us have experienced

maybe another reason for MEMBERSHIP?

ive just tried to remove my e-mail but couldnt?

craig is there someway of making this confidential m8....jay

you cant remove it from your profile, but you can stop it from being made public.

this will achieve what you want.

the thing is, i dont think the forum was harvested for the addresses, rather someones virus ridden machine gave the addresses away... but i could be wrong.

the method UBB uses to give away email addresses is by producing a link, which displays another page with the address on.

it doesnt contain any addresses on any of the pages unless you put them there.

there have been no unauthorised attempts at getting admin access to the forum, or getting shell access to the server, that i have noticed either.

[damn you warren, using my pc to post from, i didnt notice the name change when i posted biggrin.gif]
