Pompadour is a style of haircut which takes its name from Madame de Pompadour. Often, the back of the pompadour sports a D.A. or "DUCK'S ASS" style, combed long on sides, parted in back, also called ducktail or southback. The parting in the back caused the hair to stick up, hence the name.

 

Then, there's the razed sides and high front of the traditional PSYCHOBILLY 'do - a variation of the pomp that looks all sharp 'n clean 'n nasty! :confused:

Yeah thats him, I was a GPMG (SF) Instructor with him at Catterick.

ever come across a sargent called Ajula. Fairly easy to spot him, he musta been the only indian in teh regiment? color sgt last time I saw him.?
