Hi all Am getting the interior reupholstered and was wondering if anyone can give me advice about taking off the panels underneath the dash(ther tweed cloth ones Ive no probs with thge seats doorcards etc or even the centre consol. Any advice gratefully accepted

Hi bud, the best bit of direct info I can give you is to study the workshop manual. basically....

 

under steering wheel panel 4 bolts

 

glovebox 2 nuts at bottom and the little screw inside on the little hydrolic ram thing.

 

small end panel remove plastic end cap (pulls off) 2 bolts there and 2 behind the metal frame where glovebox was, thats the worsed part to do without stripping right down...

 

centre console side panels 2 bolts in the side under dash a 2 on top part.

Cheers for the help. Im having 2 tone grey leather also going for full respray as well its about time as Ive had the car quite a while now and its looking a little ragged round the edges

I have some Adhesive remover left over from when I retrimmed my panels - free if you want it. I might be able to get it to to Doncaster as a colleague of mine lives there. Or I could bring it to Ferrybridge or the Tan Hill meet if you're going. Or Thorersby :D

 

The last pic shows one of the panels stripped and cleaned :D

Thanks for the offer Apache but the guy who is trimming the panels is sticking everything to the panels
