Jesus my car was heavy on petrol, but now since knockin the boost up and stickin a scorpion on its fuukin seriously heavy.

the exhausts are black and sooty now and there is a puff of grey/black smoke when boosting heavy.

thing is im runnin the car with the orig superchip that i found in the ecu, and the general opinion is that superchips are crap and will not fuel for high boost.

so why the excessive fuel consumption and sooty exhausts?

More like 8.7mpg!

Any decent dyno operator can tell you if it's running rich - and probably make adjustments to compensate.

Not so easy when the fuelling is controlled by the ECU. You're really limited to looking for the fault that is causing it to run rich/lean.
