hi peeps

just been out for the day and ive noticed that after a while there is alot of heat coming up near my left leg and the gearknob ( which is a metal one ) gets quite hot not really hot but very warm the cars a manual n/a and everything works fine could it be a heatshield thats missing or is my zed about to explode

any help is appreciated

its just the heat produced from the transmission, its normal with a RWD car so dont worry

i think its just the heat coming off the exhaust. mine gets really hot too. i dont think its any thing to worry about.

cheers mate my zed has got a ridiculous bore on the exhaust 4" all the way down still it keeps me warm in winter lol thanx :hyper:

I am going to build a heat shield for mine as it get fooking hot on long drives, will take some pics when I am finished.

 

Oh and cold knobs are not fun I once had a car that had a stainless knob which during early morning winter driving was so cold my hand used to stick to it. Not the easiest thing to explain LOL
