I think he was a good Prime Minister. If you are an Illegal immigrant or an enemy of the state or an American president. Then yes.

Otherwise, he was just a total twat.

Who next though? I know where my 'X' is going when the time comes.

Ive nothing about our scottish brothers, but IMO its not right that a scott be PM of England. ;)

Evening Kim,

Wont be the first time this has been the case !

Arthur James Balfour, 1902-05

Conservative.

Henry Campbell Bannerman, 1905-08,

Liberal.

Andrew Bonnar Law, 1922-23,

Conservative. Canadian born, but Scottish by upbringing.

James Ramsay MacDonald, 1925-35,

Labour.

ps,

Its Scot, not scott ! :p

Alan........

and way way before that wasnt the first King of Britain Scottish (James I) ;). Suppose thats not as high and mighty as a PM but its the nearest they had back then

well i for one am glad we are friends with america, i like having cheap petrol

Yeah so do i......Shame we haven't had any

not a fan of blair but i'd prefer him to gordon brown. all politicians are the same: say a lot without actually saying ANYTHING. make boris johston the next PM!! would be a right laugh!! :D :mac1:

I have to say this.

Think he was a good PM even though he was on the other side.

I'm glad he's gone - and left a legacy to be poud of.......NOT

Blair's Britain - land of milk and honey........for immigrants, layabouts, workshy thieving pikeys and habitual criminals. The decent law abiding folk are made examples of by the courts for minor motoring offences whilst violent drunk chavs get an asbo and a £50 fine payable over 10 years......

I'm glad Brown is geting his chance to be PM though - it will be the final nail in "New" Labour's coffin :D Shame it's so long until the next election, it gives him a few more years to f#ck things up further :mac1:

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Not necessarily....... ;)

Edward I (Hammer of the Scots  ) united England, Scotland and Wales some 3 hundred years earlier (1298?). Scotland then re-gained full independence after Robert the Bruce triumphed over Edward II's bum-bandit army at Bannockburn (1314). When James I (or VI of Scotland) ascended the English throne in 1603 he simply re-united both countries again.......

Richard :slap:

Maybe all you posters are too young to remember what 18 years of Tory rule was like .

probably but it is a voters perogative to complain. especally if you voted tory at the last 2 general elections.

Who cares....whoever gets into power will be as bad as the rest...all they seem to do is bicker and argue anyway....Politics = overgrown public school kids with no sense of reality...OHHH and let not forget that Blair and Bush are quiet possibly 2 of the biggest mass murderers of all time, but because the it's a WAR ON TERROR, they'll never have to face war crimes charges, because they're so fkin riotious.... Ok rant over.... AS LONG AS AMERICA KEEP POLICING THE WORLD...NO ONE IS SAFE, AND WE'LL FOLLOW OBEDIANTLY LIKE LOST LICKLE LAMBS.....

My Budgie could do a Better Job at Number 10?! ;)

sorry but maggie might have made BIG mistakes but at least she had some bloody backbone, she wasstrong determined and would not suffer fools

Not me - I thought thing were better then!

Richard ;)

lol you were into Politics when you were 5 when she became leader of the tories yes? and 9 when she became prime minister;)

she was only prime minister for 11 years btw

i will never understand how people think that someone with an Heredity

could be a champion of the people

luckily at the moment there are still older generations who remember the lives she destroyed

will be glad to see the back of blair, but certain tories are not the alterntive

as ive said a few times, how many of you can now say your actually hard up, so much so you cant afford food for your family? as that is my memories of the tories amongst other dark days

i woudnt be so hard up, if my money i earned at work, wasnt given away to freeloaders, immigrants, single little tarts that have children at 16 for a good screw off the state, drug addicts, criminals, stupid wars, and fat politicians pay packets!

If any individual can promise that all the above will stop under their leadership then ill vote

well i for one am glad i dont have to woprk down the pit, work in the cold shipyards, so in a way maggie done me a favour as most of my family were pitmen or ship builders, so thats prob where i would have ended up

also with all this global warming, how do you think our economy would be like today if they were to close now

The only thing that worries me about Gordon Brown getting in is how much it's gonna effect us as drivers???? I feel my Zed's gonna be rather expensive to run in a minute...

no doubt he will still have his fleet of jags payed for by the tax payer at no cost to him!!

but at least that fat and ugly arrogant, waste of space Prescott has gone, now no one in the world could be worse than that thing!!

  never a truer word said

The reason we have no money is they keep piling it into idiotic ideas like road taxing scemes and the little black box's that will keep an eye on us everywhere we go.

i think if a lot of people put as much effort into improving their own lives

and quality of life rather than finding everything they don't like and spewing out hate the whole country would be a better place to live

where i live AT THE MOMENT we are lucky we don't have the immigrant problem, but i recently moved as i wanted better for my family, and could see my old area going down a road i didn't want to be in

the good old days lmao, you reckon :p

kids being on the streets aint the goverments fault, its yours the parents

the drinking culture and idiots we have roaming the streets aint the goverments fault its the morons that do it, you reckon our streets used to be safer places? funny i remember the ira bombing shit out of family shopping centres etc ie warrington/birmingham/manchester/brighton, we had riots in london/birmingham/liverpool/bristol etc,

most of you now have cars to go where you want, have the option of getting a mortgage wherever you want, own a car/s to go wherever you want,

we see people saying they have had enough and are moving to this country or that, great that you have that option, do you reckon the french/spanish/australians etc look at you any different than the immigrants in this country? apart from they get paid for being here

so while your sat in front of your computer, with your plasma/lcd telly on

your kids are sat of the latest console (or you lol) your car is sat outside of YOUR house and your wondering what you going to spend on it next or what car you want next, decide if your life IS THAT bad, if it is do summat about it

i think i could look back at most peoples posts on here and what they have posted ie nights out/holidays/mortgages/cars etc etc, to say your NOT hard up, or you have been telling porkies

immigration isn't a new thing, look back/ask your parents, just different people now even after the 2nd world war MILLIONS of people moved in and out of this country, and im sure our parents/grandparents had the same concerns we have now, the difference is you have the option of doing summat about it

i woudnt be so hard up, if my money i earned at work, wasnt given away to freeloaders, immigrants, single little tarts that have children at 16 for a good screw off the state, drug addicts, criminals, stupid wars, and fat politicians pay packets!

Nicely summed up. If only the government would tackle ONE of those problems, let alone be blind to all of them.
