Scotland then re-gained full independence after Robert the Bruce triumphed over Edward II's bum-bandit army at Bannockburn (1314). When James I (or VI of Scotland) ascended the English throne in 1603 he simply re-united both countries again.......

i think if a lot of people put as much effort into improving their own lives
