IIRC the Thorseby show starts quite early. If we meet at Ferrybridge for around 8, it'll probably be around 9 before we leave there anyway.

hate to bump in on the thread bit i know folk are coming from very far north, i wouldnt want to think they would feel unable to attend because of the extra distance for them, after all this has been arranged for a good while now and the more zeds the better.

JAPS Show doesnt open til 10.00am. So I see no reason why we cant arrange with Andrew Greenwood for us to arrive later than that, say 11 to 11.30 provided we have a reserved parking area. So making the Ferrybridge time around 10.00am?

Yeah! It opens at 10:00am and usually the show starts before 11:00am

 

Why not meet at 9:00am, with a view of arriving at Thorseby at 10:30am.

It's an hours drive from Ferrybridge and even if we meet at 9:00, can't see us getting en route until 09:30 anyway.

Thoresby Hall is approx 40 miles south of ferrybridge. Thats well do-able IMO :D

Thats still an extra 80 miles for us too. But we've done japfest which was nearly 200 miles each way on just over a tank of fuel on the motorway sticking to 80/85mph so it can be done.

Yeah, but don't forget you're not going to Thoresby THIS weekend thus saving the fuel costs which can be used on the 19th. :D

If you are using £35 to do 80 miles Sarah then you need Mr Duff to look at yer fuelling!! Cos thats around 12mpg :D

don't forget that the 'well respected' Chief Constable of Notts has taken out a High Court Injunction which prevents more than 4 vehicles travelling together within this county.

Don't know the full details of it but the aim is to prevent the boy racers causing the usual trouble.
